The Moveable Books and Toy Centre provides an opportunity to display books, pamphlets, and pictures vertically within the top section of the unit with its staged upright shelving. As well as presenting the front covers, books can be pinned open to show the inside pages too. Underneath, a raised lower shelf can be used to present resources, toys or objects to supplement topic work. Additionally, this shelf is made to accept plastic storage trays or wicker baskets which are made to measure (and are available to purchase separately). At 800mm high, 400mm deep and 800mm wide the unit provides ample storage for a classroom or library.
