• The player who has most recently eaten an apple starts the game. The first player picks up both
• the apple-pickers and waits for the signal to begin, given by another player, who turns the
• hourglass over and keep an eye on it. Now the first player has 30 seconds to transfer as many
• apples as possible into the basket using the apple-pickers. If an apple falls down, it is taken out
• of play. When the time has run out the apples in the basket are counted, and the player receives
• a corresponding number of jars of apple puree. Then all the apples are replaced in the holes in
• the tree, and it is the next player’s turn.
