This Learning Board focuses upon the life cycle of a bee which is an essential part of the world’s ecosystem providing germination to flowers, crops and fruits. Children can see the bees which are encased in clear plastic at important life stages – starting with an egg, larva, pupa and finally an adult bee. The specimens are real so they are small but highly detailed and can be seen with even greater clarity using illuminated backlights which can be switched on in sequence. Children can use magnifiers to gain an even closer look. Conversations will abound expanding children’s understanding and vocabulary. Batteries not included.
